Oh Christmas Tree!

Oh Christmas Tree is my recent take on the traditional song, ‘O Christmas Tree’. We have just gotten a Siberian Husky puppy and she is into EVERYTHING! Here is Molly – yes, I know she looks sweet…

 

And I do love her. But this is one of the few moments she’s not terrorizing our house! Molly lately has loved to 1) bite at the Christmas tree branches and try to pull the tree over or 2) take a nose dive into the bottom of the Christmas tree after one of her toys (that she’s strategically placed under a branch). Needless to say, my ‘Oh Christmas Tree’ expression is well deserved!

As we quickly approach my favorite holiday, let’s remember to enjoy time with family and friends. Remember the Reason for the season.  Don’t let the stress and bustle get to you. O Christmas Tree

Is it too early?! I’m laughing… I love the Christmas holidays enough I could celebrate them all year long. However, if you have something at your fingertips every day, it may not be quite as special.

Take family – I just read a blog that reminded me family is important. It seems simple but they love you and they are always there for you. Sometimes, you take that for granted. BUT they are really the most important! You cannot allow the thought of ‘they’ll be there tomorrow’ fall prey to ‘my job’ or ‘my schedule’.

The song ‘O Christmas Tree’ is German in nature. I love the German philosophy that anyone is family. Take their pubs for example, the table may be full and you may be alone but you’re still welcome. Everyone slides a little closer to their neighbor to welcome you!

Stork Deliveries by April isn’t pushing our Christmas products yet but have to share this picture of one of the cutest Christmas bibs we’ve ever seen. We just received a few of the bibs in stock and are hoping to sell them before the holidays ring in completely. Size 0-6 months only so order now for babies due during the next few months!

So while you’re enjoying being lazy and watching football games, make your family a priority. Start thinking of the holidays and how you can be together. It’s not the food or the party or the dates; family is treasuring any time you have together and making the most of it.
